Here's our 2nd verse of 2016... I really need this one right now.

Mid-January Update

So many of you have been asking for an update. Honestly I wish I had more news to report. Here's where we are at the moment:

• We're hoping to (mostly) finish our kitchen update this weekend. We have to finish this before we can do the home study.
• We've spoken with 2 different social workers for our home study and now we need to make a decision and get the process started.
• Planning 2 fundraisers (more info soon). We have to pay for the home study and the initial fee out of pocket. Then we can apply for grants to help cover the remaining balance. Adoption is expensive!

Scripture Memory Accountability Group

Some wonderful ladies at my church have started a "Scripture Memory Accountability Group" for 2016. We choose our own verses and have 2 weeks to learn them. My whole family is memorizing with me. Here's my first verse of the year...
